Deportation Issues Will Only Be Handled If You Have Done Nothing Wrong

 IMG_20160606_215215[1]

*Nigeria have insistted that deportation of its *citizens must be based on crime committing.

Nigeria have said to its Allies, "Make sure that someone you are deporting comites a crime not those who did nothing wrong".
When you did nothing wrong and you were deported, we will take action. So if you know of any case where you were illegally deported or you didn't commit any offence and you are treated unfairly, Nigeria will intervene.
And as the minister of foreign affairs, he added,  "I have indeed taking up a few cases last few months.There have been quit a few cases like a Nigerian in Senegal that was badly treated", the ministry intervened immediately.
And we just handled one in Ukraine. Cases like that when it comes to us we get in-touch almost immediately . However, we must follow every countries rule.          Like there was a guy in a particular country who actually had an expired visa, the guy was arrested, he was in a deportation camp and his coming to us and saying we should let the deportation be fast, We can't interface in other countries policy, because you broke the law, but we must make sure that you are fairly treated".
Likewise A Nigerian from china wrote to the ministry and said, "i am in a particular prison, please tell them to take me away from that prison and take me to a particular prison", I replied him and said, I can't do that. well, being human, there are some request that we know that doesn't really make sence but we try to be fair in other words try to reply all emails seeking for help to ensure that Nigerians are properly treated, that is what we are doing at this point in time".
So if there is cases  you let us know we take it up however, if you break the law, you have to pay the penalties. So we are lunching awareness to Nigerians, try to obey the rules of other countries because there is no much we can do if you have broken the law but in a situation were reversed is the case, please report to the ministry and we will intervene and we have been intervening under the current minister of foreign affairs".
Nigerians are in every prison round the world, he added, "but we are happy to let you know that it's not getting worse, in fact, it has decreased over the months and we are hoping to tarnish it because we stand for corruption free. We hope this will be a thing of the past, with better awareness, better education and constantly reminding Nigerian people to respect other country's policy.
It is quit tough being a legal migrant not to talk of being an illegal immigrant, with a lot of work being created in Nigeria now.  We are talking about 500000 thousand teachers now given a opputunity and agricultural diversification.
like in taiwan, each home has a farm not a garden and when such measure is integrated into the life of every youth in Nigeria, I think Nigerians won't be seeking to leave the country

Breaking; Kuje Break, Two Inmates Missing

prison.jpg*An official of the Nigeria Prison Service, *Mr Enobore Francis,  Confirmed to the *press on saturday that there has been a *prison break at kuje prison. leading to the *escape of two prisoners awaiting trial.

actually yesterday we had an incident where two inmates awaiting trial escaped from custody.

But Charlse Okah is still in safe custody in Kuje Medium Security Prison", So Charlse Okah is certainly not among the inmates escaped", he continue, At least the controller general himself came when the news was trending to assess the situation, though reporters were not allowed into the prison with the comptroller genaral of prisons, who carried out the assessment. Mr Enobore Francis said the inmate escaped from their cells at about 7:30 pm. local time on friday, June 24.

The Nigeria Chief of Army Staff, major-general Tukur Yusuf Buratai and the Minister of information, Lai Muhammed have also confirmed the attack  but could not reveal the names of the inmates.

He further added that the comptroller general have directed that a detailed account of what transpired should be transferred to his office. "He has promised that any staffs found wanting would be made to face the full consequences of the law," he concluded

Nigeria want doctors in Diaspora

ClpjXzqWYAAAfEa*"We want an organization where our *children from abroad can come back home *and participate here, our children like *doctors, lawyers, in Diaspora". And we *hope we can do that through a policy. *Minister of foreign Afairs, Mr. Geoffrey *Onyeama

Mr. Geoffrey Onyeama, on saturday disclosed a plan to implement a foreign police for Nigerians leaving in abroad, at a press meeting held in Abuja on saturday 25 june he said.
"For the fact that everything you do you must have a policy, So we are working with relevant bodies to have a policy in place. Relevant bodies like doctors in Uk, Lawyers in Diaspora, To articulate a policy that will guild every Nigerian in abroad And we are almost done actually.  By the time we fine-tuned everything, we will put it out there for Nigerians in abroad to make the final contributions".
"Very soon, the president Mohammed buharis administration will have a concrete policy for Nigerians leaving in abroad, and its critical, infact it should have been done so much earlier because abroad dynamics will determine 24 century and we as a country should not be left behind. At least 26 countries have full ministries for abroad".
"So it's very important because the African Union is now dividing us into six regions in abroad. A policy is critical for the foundation of anything and for it to continue. So that policy is being worked on and its been given a mandate by the president to come up with a policy and we are almost running behind schedule already but  we are almost done".
So, our mission is to have that policy, and then we will have everything else tied to the policy and that is why it is very critical and we have to make it realistic and practicable, and make sure we have that policy very soon".
We don't want to give much details about it yet, but is going to be an engaging policy, we are  also going to learn from other countries, ofcuse there has been a draft already, we are just building on the draft, there has been a stake holders meeting, various groups were involved in the drafting, including Nigerians in Diaspora".
But we have to take it more  higher to ensure that we get it fully right this time. It has gone through a long process so it's about time to get it done and put it out there and actually present it to the Nigeria public".

CBN ;Exchange Rate To Be Determined By The Market.

The Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, on Wednesday declared that the exchange rate will henceforth be determined by the market.
Speaking at a press conference in Abuja, the CBN Governor, Mr. Godwin Emefiele noted that the apex bank would occasionally participate in the market, stressing that the 41 items banned last year from having access to forex for imports remained banned.
The CBN has also appointed primary dealers for the first time which is expected to help boost FX liquidity in the market.
Emefiele revealed that the new price of the Naira in regard to exchange rate will be made public when the market opens officially on Monday.
He also stated that there will only be one exchange rate and the bank will intervene in the market “as the need arises.”
“We’re talking about an open, transparent two-way system.

“It’s intended we don’t have speculators and rent-seekers. I don’t expect that any other exchange rate will be recognized,” he said.
According to Apex bank boss, “The Exchange Rate would be purely market-driven using the Thomson-Reuters Order Matching System as well as the Conversational Dealing Book;
“The CBN would participate in the Market through periodic interventions to either buy or sell FX as the need arises;
“To improve the dynamics of the market, we will introduce FX Primary Dealers (FXPD) who would be registered by the CBN to deal directly with the Bank for large trade sizes on a two-way quotes basis;
“These Primary Dealers shall operate with other dealers in the Inter-bank market, amongst other obligations that will be stipulated in the Foreign Exchange Primary Dealers (FXPD) Guidelines, which would also be released immediately after this Press Briefing;
“There shall be no predetermined spread on FX spot transactions executed through the CBN intervention with Primary Dealers, while all FX Spot purchased by Authorized Dealers are transferable in the inter-bank FX Market;
“The Forty-One (41) items classified as “Not Valid for Foreign Exchange” as detailed in a previous CBN Circular shall remain inadmissible in the Nigerian FX market;
“To enhance liquidity in the market, the CBN may also offer long-tenored FX Forwards of 6 to 12 months or any tenor to Authorized Dealers;
“Sale of FX Forwards by Authorized Dealers to end-users must be trade-backed, with no predetermined spreads;
“The CBN shall introduce non-deliverable over-the-counter (OTC) Naira-settled Futures, with daily rates on the CBN-approved FMDQ Trading and Reporting System. This is an entirely new product in the Nigerian Foreign Exchange Market, which would help moderate volatility in the exchange rate by moving non-urgent FX demand from the Spot to the Futures market;
“The OTC FX Futures shall be in non-standardized amounts and different fixed tenors, which may be sold on any dates thereby ensuring bespoke maturity dates;
“Proceeds of Foreign Investment Inflows and International Money Transfers shall be purchased by Authorized Dealers at the Daily Inter-Bank Rate; and
“Non-oil exporters are now allowed unfettered access to their FX proceeds, which shall be sold in the Inter-bank market.
