| New Delhi : Volkswagen India on Sunday launched its compact sedan Ameo, the first sub 4-metre sedan by the brand, at a price of Rs 5.1 lakh ex-showroom Mumbai. The car will compete with the likes of Honda Amaze, Maruti Suzuki Dzire and Hyundai Xcent. |

| Ameo will come in three varinats namely Trendline, Comfortline and Highline. All variants will come equipped with dual front airbags and ABS as standard. |

Some of the features that will be seen in the Ameo include Cruise control, which the company says is first in class, rain sensing wipers, anti-pinch power windows, rear view camera with parking sensors etc. |
