*Nigeria have insistted that deportation of its *citizens must be based on crime committing.
Nigeria have said to its Allies, "Make sure that someone you are deporting comites a crime not those who did nothing wrong".
When you did nothing wrong and you were deported, we will take action. So if you know of any case where you were illegally deported or you didn't commit any offence and you are treated unfairly, Nigeria will intervene.
And as the minister of foreign affairs, he added, "I have indeed taking up a few cases last few months. There have been quit a few cases like a Nigerian in Senegal that was badly treated", the ministry intervened immediately.
And we just handled one in Ukraine. Cases like that when it comes to us we get in-touch almost immediately . However, we must follow every countries rule. Like there was a guy in a particular country who actually had an expired visa, the guy was arrested, he was in a deportation camp and his coming to us and saying we should let the deportation be fast, We can't interface in other countries policy, because you broke the law, but we must make sure that you are fairly treated".
Likewise A Nigerian from china wrote to the ministry and said, "i am in a particular prison, please tell them to take me away from that prison and take me to a particular prison", I replied him and said, I can't do that. well, being human, there are some request that we know that doesn't really make sence but we try to be fair in other words try to reply all emails seeking for help to ensure that Nigerians are properly treated, that is what we are doing at this point in time".
So if there is cases you let us know we take it up however, if you break the law, you have to pay the penalties. So we are lunching awareness to Nigerians, try to obey the rules of other countries because there is no much we can do if you have broken the law but in a situation were reversed is the case, please report to the ministry and we will intervene and we have been intervening under the current minister of foreign affairs".
Nigerians are in every prison round the world, he added, "but we are happy to let you know that it's not getting worse, in fact, it has decreased over the months and we are hoping to tarnish it because we stand for corruption free. We hope this will be a thing of the past, with better awareness, better education and constantly reminding Nigerian people to respect other country's policy.
It is quit tough being a legal migrant not to talk of being an illegal immigrant, with a lot of work being created in Nigeria now. We are talking about 500000 thousand teachers now given a opputunity and agricultural diversification.
like in taiwan, each home has a farm not a garden and when such measure is integrated into the life of every youth in Nigeria, I think Nigerians won't be seeking to leave the country
